Explainables is an AI-powered educational platform for CBSE students (classes 6–10):

• Free Tier — basic AI tutoring and core educational features
• VIP Subscription — premium access with enhanced features
• Brain Power Currency — in-platform currency for premium features

The Service is provided "as-is." We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.

Requirements

• One account per person — multiple accounts are prohibited
• You must be at least 11 years old to use the Service
• Under 18? A parent or guardian must provide consent
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential

Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. False information may result in account suspension.

VIP Plans

• Billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually)
• Auto-renewal is enabled by default
• Cancel anytime from Settings; takes effect at end of billing cycle

Brain Power Packs

• One-time purchases — non-renewable
• Credits do not expire and remain valid indefinitely
• Once used, Brain Power cannot be refunded

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay and PayPal. By making a payment, you agree to their respective payment terms. Explainables is not responsible for payment processing errors or issues arising from Razorpay's or PayPal's services.

Refund Policy

• VIP: 7-day refund window if not actively used. No refunds after 7 days.
• Brain Power: No refunds once purchased and credited

You agree not to use the platform for:

• Academic Dishonesty — cheating on exams or submitting AI content as your own
• Unauthorized Scraping — automated scraping or downloading of content
• Account Sharing — sharing credentials with others
• Reverse Engineering — attempting to discover underlying algorithms or code
• Abusive Content — offensive, hateful, or inappropriate language
• Harassment — harassing, threatening, or bullying others
• Illegal Activities — using the Service for any illegal purposes

Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

• Educational Purpose Only — AI responses are for learning support, not professional advice
• Potential Errors — AI may occasionally generate incorrect information
• Verify Everything — always verify with your textbooks, teachers, or CBSE resources
• No Liability — Explainables is not responsible for errors in AI-generated content
• Supplementary Tool — does not replace classroom education or professional tutoring
• No Unconditional Compliance — We do not guarantee that AI-generated answers are 100% accurate. We disclaim liability for any incorrect content generated by the AI model

Explainables uses AI models provided via API from a third-party AI service provider. By using this Service, you acknowledge:

• User Input Processing — Your questions and chat messages are sent to a third-party AI provider for processing to generate responses
• Third-Party Privacy Policy — The AI provider processes your input under their own privacy policy (see our Privacy Policy for links)
• No Sensitive Data — Do not share personally identifiable information, financial details, or passwords in your questions. The Service is for educational queries only
• Trained Context — The AI is configured with NCERT curriculum context, custom personalities, and board exam guidance by Explainables. Despite this, the AI remains a third-party model and outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate
• Data Retention — Explainables does not permanently store chat content beyond session continuity. The AI provider may retain inputs per their data retention policies

Explainables Content: All platform content, branding, design, and AI-generated materials are the exclusive intellectual property of Explainables. Reproduction without permission is prohibited.

NCERT Content: Materials derived from NCERT textbooks are property of NCERT and the Government of India.

Your Content: You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting, you grant Explainables a non-exclusive license to use it for platform improvement.

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Explainables is not liable for:

• Learning outcomes or exam results
• Technical issues, downtime, or data loss
• Errors in AI-generated content
• Any indirect or consequential damages

Total liability shall not exceed the amount you've paid in the past 12 months.

We may terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or compromise platform security.

You may delete your account anytime via Settings → "Delete Account." Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in Indian courts.

Material changes will be notified via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
