Usage Data

We may process chat prompts, generated explanations, uploaded learning material, saved study outputs, XP, streaks, completion status, and time spent where needed to provide and improve the Service.

Payment Information

We do not store credit card, UPI PIN, CVV, or banking credentials. We receive transaction status, amount, plan, and limited billing metadata from payment providers for receipts, support, refunds, and fraud prevention.

Device & Browser

We may process IP address, device/browser details, request time, error events, and security signals for analytics, reliability, abuse prevention, and account protection.

We do not sell your data to third parties, use it for marketing, or share it beyond necessary service providers.

We also use data to respond to account requests, refunds, disputes, abuse reports, and lawful obligations.

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Render.com, with enterprise-grade security standards.

While we implement robust measures, no system is 100% secure. Please use strong, unique passwords.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain security, comply with legal or tax requirements, resolve disputes, and improve reliability. If you delete your account or request deletion, we remove or anonymize personal data unless limited retention is required for legal, security, backup, or payment-record reasons.

• AI Model Provider (Third-Party API) — Explainables uses AI models provided via a third-party API to power the tutoring engine. When you ask a question, your input is sent to this third-party AI service for processing. Only the question text you type is sent — not your name, email, or account details. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your questions.
• AI Training & Customisation — We have configured the AI with custom prompts incorporating NCERT curriculum content, personalised tutor personalities, and board exam context. Your individual conversations are not used to retrain the AI model.
• Razorpay and PayPal — process payments securely
• Google OAuth — enables secure, password-free login
• Render.com — hosts our infrastructure and databases

• Limited Data Collection — only data necessary for education
• No Third-Party Ads — no behavioral tracking for advertising
