Explainables started with one question: why is understanding so hard when information is so available?

I finished my Class 10 boards in 2023. Like most students, I spent hours searching for clear explanations — and almost every time, I'd come away more confused than when I started. Textbooks use jargon. YouTube is 30 minutes for a 3-line answer. ChatGPT doesn't know what's in Chapter 5 of your NCERT book.

"There's no tool built specifically for a Class 9 CBSE student who just needs Motion explained properly — in 2 minutes, with examples, board-exam ready."

So I built one.

I'm now a first-year B.E. Computer Science student, and I've been building Explainables since start of 2026. Every feature on this platform came from a real problem I or my classmates faced. The Brain Power system, the Board Mode answers, the chapter-based context — all of it is designed around how students actually study, not how adults think they study.

The goal is simple: every CBSE student in India should have access to a brilliant tutor that explains things in plain language, at any hour, for free or close to free. That's what this is.

How our AI works

Transparency about the technology behind Explainables

This app uses AI models provided via API from a third-party AI provider. The AI processes your questions and generates educational responses in real time.

We have trained and prompted our AI with:

Official NCERT textbooks and board exam material (Classes 6–10)
Our own curated notes and subject-specific context
Carefully crafted personalities for each class tutor — so answers feel warm, student-friendly, and age-appropriate
Board exam patterns and answer-writing formats

Important: While we have trained the AI to be accurate and NCERT-aligned, we do not unconditionally endorse every AI-generated answer. AI can occasionally make mistakes. Always verify important answers with your textbooks, teachers, or official CBSE material before exams.
